Galati Zoo, is located 19 km from Galati, in Tulucesti commune, in Garboavele forest.
It can only be reached by car or taxi. The entrance price is 1,2€ for adults and 0,30€ for pupils / students,Children (0-5 years) and people with disabilities have free access.
The program is as follows: Monday, Tuesday - closed; Wednesday-Friday 09.00-17.00, and on weekends Saturday-Sunday 09.00-19.00. The garden is spread over 14ha, the access with any kind of moped vehicle is strictly forbidden, the movement is made only on foot through the forest. There are many signs from the entrance to help tourists cover the entire zoo.
It is a rich zoo, they have many specimens of animals including: lion, tiger, pigeon, sheep, goats, horses, cows, chickens, llama, alpaca, ponies, ducks, deer, common deer, shovel deer, purebred horses blood, donkey, donkey, buffalo, peacocks, pheasants, black swans, ostriches, hawks, bears, rabbits, etc.
The visit duration is at least 60 minutes to be able to include the whole Zoo.
The route is marked with scratches, to see the bears you have to cross a bridge, and to see the sheep, goats, cows you have to go down an alley and then climb again. It is a pleasant weekend experience, the animals being very well cared for and the cages roomy.
